Genesis Taxonomy Images

A WordPress plugin // User Guide // Functions // Filters

Add featured images to your terms with this easy-to-use plugin available from the WordPress Plugin Repository.

This plugin enables you to upload and display an image for your taxonomy terms. This includes categories, tags, and custom taxonomy terms that your site may use.

It uses the Genesis Term Meta functionality to manage and display your image, so this plugin requires the Genesis theme framework. If you’re not using Genesis, this plugin won’t work for you.

Requirements

  • a theme using the Genesis framework
  • the confidence to add some custom code to place the saved image where you want it to appear.

Installation

Installation is a snap. Search for “Genesis Taxonomy Images” in your plugins panel, and install it when it comes up. If you’re after more detailed instructions, here you go!

Usage

The instructions for use are found in the user guide. There is also a function call and some filters.
