Ben and Erin Chrisman are internationally renowned photographers, photographing weddings around the world. When they decided to expand by adding more photographers, they had ambitious plans for their new site: clean lines, nimble feel, and plenty of custom CMS features…well beyond just categories and tags. Oh, and it had to work everywhere.

We were brought in on this project after the designer had completed the visual design concept for the desktop. With major framework engineering, we organized the immense amount of content (over 12gb of images!) and developed a fully responsive WordPress site, including designing and coding all device layouts to compliment the original desktop-centric vision.

The results is a deceptively clean site to host their award winning photography that has grown into the tenth largest wedding-related website on the net. It's both gorgeous on the outside and highly functional on the inside, including plenty of custom admin enhancements to make it easy to maintain.

Mike knows how to make things work. He took our ideas and created beauty out of chaos, in what is now probably the largest wedding photography web site in the world. The site looks small, until you start digging through the 10,000+ photos on the site. And Mike made that possible through thoughtful and diligent determination to not only give us what we needed then, but what we still need now.

Mike thinks about what you don't think about, and I really value that proactive mindset in a collaborative, creative process.
